Street Up is dedicated to transforming the way our community understands and addresses homelessness. By leveraging the insights of those who with living and lived experience of homelessness, we aim to support more effective, compassionate, and inclusive responses and solutions. Our initiative is a collaborative effort involving individuals with firsthand experience of homelessness, Sunshine Coast Council, Caloundra Community Centre, and Nambour Community Centre.

Street Up facilitates partnerships between people with lived experience of homelessness, local government, businesses, service providers, government, and community organisations to guide inclusive decision-making.
By amplifying the voices of our Lived Experience Leaders, Street Up aims to improve understanding and awareness of homelessness, ensuring that policies and practices are informed by real-world experiences.

Transforming Perspectives, Guiding Solutions
The initiative raises awareness and provides insights through activities such as presentations, training, peer support, research, policy reviews, and consultations.
By collaborating with various stakeholders, Street Up strives to support effective, compassionate solutions that genuinely address the concerns of people who are experiencing homelessness on the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.
